Castle Court Motel

Premises were good and the hosts were very accommodating. the Spa and sauna were great after doing sports all day !! Just down the road from the town centre also which was a bonus The beds were good and having a roof fan in the rooms was great for cooling it down in the evening. The geese out the back were a great source of entertainment as well

Tidy clean all the ammenities quick easy access to walk to town. Pleasant country surroundings easy access off the main highway heaps of parking straight outside each unit and suprisingly quiet a really good place to stay when travelling from up north down to Auckland. Can have a pleasant breakfast in Wellsford and be in Auckland 1/2 later 😁👍

Clean and tidy, easy to find, everything at ground level. The host was amazing, we called to say we will be late checking in, host explained where our unit will be etc, we got in around 9pm and the lights and heater to our unit was turned on, so after a 5 hour road trip it was a welcoming feeling to have our room ready and warm for us. I was blown away!

Large comfortable room with rural views. Good Wifi, which is a must. Room clean and good basic kitchenette.. Easy parking outside door. Welcoming proprietor. Close to start of Highway 16 so we could skirt around Auckland

Staff were friendly , helpful and welcoming. Room had all we needed and we really appreciated the fan! The rooms had gone through some renovation recently with new carpet etc. Nice to have the option of a coffee plunger too. Although we did not have a deck other members of our group had the newer units which had a lovely large deck, great place to sit on the warm evenings.
